The President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. James Bassey Ejue as the new Provost of Federal College of Education Obudu, Cross River State. The President also appointment Dr. Aliyu Idris Funtua as Provost of Federal College of Education, Katsina, Katsina state. The appointments, according to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, take effect from August 19. The appointments are for four years subject to renewal for another term. Adamu, who announced the appointments in a statement issued by the ministry’s Deputy Director (Press), Ben Bem-Goong, said the conditions of service, including remunerations and fringe benefits shall be as approved for Provosts in Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria. Dr. Ejue, 52 holds a Doctorate Degree in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Calabar. Until this appointment, he was the Provost of the Cross River State College of Education,Akamkpa. ABUAD Released Names Of Students Who Damage The School Hostels At The End Of 2015/2016 Sessions

At the end of the 2015/2016 Session inventory of all the Halls of Residence in the University were taken. Some of the rooms allocated to the under listed Students were badly damaged. Management has therefore decided as follows; That the cost of damages incurred by students in each room be shared amongst the occupant. All affected Students are mandated to pay for the damages on or before resumption for the 2016/2017 session. Strict compliance to this directive shall be ensured. Thanks Management.
